Before becoming a professional illustrator, Caroline studied Fashion Design in Amsterdam and worked as a fashion designer for 14 years. She is also highly proficient in incorporating her illustrations into design repeats and surface patterns. Her creative process is driven by a love of color - painting is like dancing with colors, as she describes it.
