“Strong, confident, joyful art  to make you feel like that, live like that, and love like that.” Angela Maritz is an internationally exhibited artist whose vibrant, expressive paintings explore the intersection of nature, memory, and human emotion. Working with bold colour and intuitive mark-making, she translates feeling into form, creating works that feel alive and uplifting. Based in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, Angela believes her true artistic voice emerged when she allowed herself to paint freely, without fear of getting it wrong.
