Sonia is the artist and designer behind ASquareWatermelon, a studio creating nature-inspired wall art, botanical illustration, and surface pattern designs rooted in storytelling and slow living. Based in North Carolina, USA her work blends calligraphy line work, botanical motifs, painterly textures and  hand-drawn illustration to create artwork that feels calm, expressive, and timeless. Her creative journey began in 2020 when calligraphy became a personal practice of slowing down and reconnecting with art.
